An iOS app (launched 2020) to transform your friend using AR costumes. Developed and animated by Universal Everything as part of their Future Human art series.
Users can aim their camera at their super friend and see them transform with fun AR costumes - there are 11 to choose from. Users can swipe left and right to change the look. Using the latest body tracking technology, users can film their friends being transformed and share via social media, using the hashtag #SuperYouAR.

I was tasked with creating minimal UI for this unique, fun and awe inspiring mobile app. Starting with some initial concepts and wires in Sketch to outline the overall journey from launching the app to recording the experience. Regular video check-ins allowed sharing and collaboration with the team, discussing requirements, feasibility and prototypes.
Exploring potential colour schemes using UE’s existing brand palette. The strong and daring red was a bold choice, the team were keen to use this vibrant colour to help with contrast against the 3D costumes. I was working in Illustrator to establish graphics, creating elegant and flat icons within the boundaries of the minimal look and feel. Adobe XD was used to create one off prototype animations for button transitions to help developers understand behaviours. Final screen assets were then exported for testing and development. You can see samples of the exploration and concepts above.
